Ian's knowledge and expertise in the field of colouring has gained him an enviable reputation as a stylist trusted for the most disastrous of colour corrections.
Ian was 18 when he started off as a junior on what can only be described as an action-packed career in the hair and beauty industry. His fathers salon in County Westmeath, Ireland proved the perfect foundation for a career in hairdressing. Four years later he passed his final exams with distinctions in every department. With many awards under his belt, including for several of the Irish Hairdresser of the year competitions, he left Ireland for the States - teaching in California and setting up a salon in Atlanta, Georgia. Ten years ago he came to Hong Kong and after working in some of the top salons here, realised the need for a salon strong on skills and service but realistically priced. Hence the birth of The Colour Bar.

Antonietta has been in Hong Kong for an impressive fifteen years. Originally from Cambridgeshire in England, where she obtained her City of Guilds qualification, she worked as a stylist in both Basildon and London for a total of eight years before moving to Asia for a "change of scenery". After working in one of Hong Kong's top international salons for eight years, she then moved to one of the most successful hotels here, where she clocked up another six years experience. She is now able to boast a strong and very loyal client base, made up of both local professionals and expats.
